  • The Rumack-Matthew Nomogram: This validated tool determines the need for NAC therapy. The nomogram can only be used for a single, acute ingestion, with the serum concentration obtained at or after 4 hours post-ingestion. The standard treatment line crosses 150 $\mu$g/mL at the 4-hour mark; levels above this line mandate NAC therapy.
  • King's College Criteria: Used to determine when a patient with acetaminophen-induced acute liver failure should be immediately referred for liver transplantation.
