What RescueEM is

RescueEM is a study and exam-preparation platform for medical students, residents, and licensed healthcare professionals who are preparing for board, in-training, and licensing examinations in emergency medicine (for example ABEM, MRCEM, FCEM, Arab Board, in-training exams). All content — podcasts, slide decks, infographics, mind maps, multiple-choice questions, and case scenarios — is published for educational review purposes only.

What RescueEM is not

  • It is not medical advice.
  • It is not a clinical decision-support tool.
  • It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
  • It does not replace your training, your supervising clinician, your local guidelines, or formal continuing medical education (CME) accreditation.
  • It does not certify, license, or accredit any user, and completion of any content on RescueEM is not a professional credential.

No doctor–patient relationship

Using RescueEM does not create any clinician–patient relationship between you and RescueEM, its author, or its contributors. The content is general educational material and is not intended for, or applicable to, any individual patient.

Case scenarios are fictional

Case simulations and patient vignettes on RescueEM are fictional teaching scenarios designed to illustrate exam-style reasoning. They do not depict real patients, real encounters, or real medical events.

Use in clinical care

You must not use RescueEM to make decisions about the care of a real patient. Always follow your local protocols, your institutional policies, current peer-reviewed literature, and the judgment of your supervising clinician. If you are not a medical professional and you have a health concern, contact a qualified clinician or your local emergency service.

Accuracy

Content is produced from peer-reviewed source material and reviewed by emergency physicians, but medical knowledge evolves rapidly and content may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the content for any particular purpose.

No patient information

You must not upload, paste, or otherwise submit any patient-identifiable information (PHI/PII) to RescueEM. The platform is not designed to receive or store such information.
