About RescueEM

RescueEM is an educational study platform for medical students, residents, and licensed clinicians preparing for emergency medicine board and in-training exams. It is not a clinical product, not medical advice, and not affiliated with any examining board.

Every topic is produced in four study formats so it fits the gap you have right now: audio review for hands-busy time, slides for a quick lunch review, an infographic to glance at, and exam-style MCQs to test recall.

Who builds it

RescueEM is built and operated by Ahmed Elsayed Ghoname, an emergency medicine physician. The platform is independent and self-funded; we are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or accredited by any medical board, society, or examining body.

Editorial standard

Study content is drafted from peer-reviewed source material and reviewed by emergency physicians before publication. Knowledge evolves quickly, so we update topics on a rolling basis and welcome corrections via the "Report" button on every piece of content.

AI content disclaimer

Most of the content on RescueEM is generated with the assistance of AI. Generation is strictly constrained to established emergency medicine textbooks and peer-reviewed references, and every topic is regularly revised by consultants of emergency medicine before and after publication. Despite this review, AI-assisted content can contain errors — always cross-check against primary sources and your local protocols.

Educational use only

Everything on RescueEM — including case scenarios and management questions — is published for exam preparation and learning only. It is not medical advice, not a clinical decision-support tool, and must not be used to diagnose or treat any patient. Always defer to your training, your supervising clinician, and your local protocols. See our Educational Use Disclaimer.
